Wow, I didn't have any frost on windshield at all this morning. Ground was a little crunchy when I took the new puppy out every 2 hours last night though. This pup is worse than a newborn.

Tis a "she", and hopefully she won't get too big. Dad was 185, but mom was only a little over 100.

Southwestern PA, high 43 and sunny today. Need to get the old tractor out and straighten my 1/2 mile lane up for about five loads of gravel. $$$$$... there goes my mad money.

Mid Missouri we will get up to 50 today! We did the same thin grayfox! We have a 1/4 mile lane from the road that we just had 4 loads of rock brought in. We then had another load dumped at our campsite so we spread it allllll around. Now we can park and not walk in mud when it rains! Yeah it's not cheap!

moving the deck

Pics of our 10' x 30' deck being pulled by a truck after it was converted to a huge sled. I'm soooooo tired of the cold and high winds! Getting a later start today on leveling it. That should be easy with around 36 posts. NP!

You should out some hay on that thing and offer it up for a sleigh ride with all that cold still going on!

Meet the deck crew

Thanks for the cheering about the deck. Today is the start of leveling. Crew tried to level in one piece, but impossible, so disassembled in sections to be leveled as we reassemble. Don't mind the crap all over the site, it's just how it is when you first land. It is my pleasure to introduce the Motley Deck Crew. Good looking they are!

My husband on the right is eating his breakfast in a bowl. I actually have chips, triscuits, and chocolate chippers out there. But funny, they just keep requesting more beer!
