Anyone here recall asking OC for a Florida weather report? Especially those of you stuck with sub zero temps and lots of snow.

Our 8-12" has turned into 0" of snow and just rain so far. Go figure. All this rain is going to turn to ice over night though. Would rather have the snow.

Not as bad as some other areas - but Appartently unlike you, I do have some compassion for the other members here who are experiencing bad weather.

Every school in eastern Missouri and downstate Illinois is closed tomorrow. In the 30+ years that I worked as a school transportation director, I bet I can count on both hands the number of times we called off the night before. I always had to get up and we made the decision around 4:00 to 4:30 in the morning. In all fairness, though, this is one cold sucker for anybody - especially kids standing waiting for a bus - to be out.

Enjoy your extra day of Christmas break, kiddos!
