Henderson Beach State Park, Florida

One of the nicest campgrounds we've ever been in. Henderson Beach State Park, Destin, Florida. Beautiful site, and a 1/4 mile boardwalk leads directly from the campground, over the dunes, to the beach.

Have a great long weekend!!!! I drove up to our seasonal site this afternoon after spending 3 hours on the lawn tractorat home. Got up here, looked at the lawn and thought, no, it'll wait till tomorrow.

We survived the evening dry, inside at least. Yard and street flash flooded, but is just soggy now, little water still standing in yard. Had to run 2 sump pumps continuously in basement to keep up with water going into pit. Luckily I caught it in time. Many others were not as fortunate.
