Took about 4 hrs on the hard parts.
Hardest part was getting the egr blocker plate in.
Then an additional 2 hours to get the boost, egt guages, dsp5 switch and wiring in along with the pillar pod.
Thru 26 gallons of fuel the mpg has pretty much settled in at 21 mpg before it was 17-18.
I'll find out next week what the towing numbers are when I head to the amana rally.
It's about a 80 mile drive that's mostly flat but get into a few rolling hills toward Iowa city, but nothing really extreme.
Turbo spools up much much faster!
Congrats Ron and Amy on the first grandchild!
Great news on the mods as well. The extra power certainly will help. I had real life towing yesterday same terrain as your trip 10.5 mpg so I am sure you will beat that with the Duramax for sure!
Here in Ontario we can not do that as the e-test would nail us for EGR delete as a mod and cancel the licence plate.
