This brings the question, are they (lifted carts) fairly tough ? Been think'n bout trade'n in a four wheeler for one. To use at hunt'n camp, probly just two wheel drive.
Looks like you are maybe...a little hard on it !

I built this one from a old grounds keepers cart. It's gas powered and has a 20 hp Honda V-twin turning about 26-27 hp with tweaks.
I was absolutly being hard on it!
There are several "more stock" type of options for a hunting cart.
Are you thinking electric or gas?

Was thinking electric, but the gas seems a little less expensive, and still fairly quiet. So ... Still undecided.

Happy Memorial Day weekend, and "thank you" to our son, Commander Matt Byrne (just starting his 17th year in the Navy) and all current and former members of all branches of the Armed Forces.

Your cool weather will be here tonight I guess. Supposed to be 50 degrees in the morning and warming to 78 for a high tomorrow. Time to get on the water!

Gas or electric expense varies by region. Electrics end up being more expensive to own overall. I prefer the gas and go idea. We routinely end up towing the electrics back when they run out of charge.
That said, they are quiet and offer great torgue for running off road.
All carts are over built for their intended task and capable of so much more with a couple simple tweaks.

Makes sense, if traveling more than 12 mi one way in off road conditions, the electric would be short on juice. When you tweak a gas one is exhaust one if the things you work with ? Meaning do you make it louder when making more power ?

As too my son, evidently I still have some phriends in high places,I mentioned to one in particular, that he was interested in Air Force Acadamy. About 3 mo. later he received a letter. So he may have his recommendation !
