I had to have my dear dad come do ours while we were gone.
He's retired and is always bugging me for things to do.
I tilled up a section in our backyard for him to have a garden which he enjoys werking in while he's out here.
I believe I'll weed it tomorrow phor him.
Were unpacked and relaxing and was a great long weekend!
To bad the traffic was killer on the way home as it added another hour to our trip.

Bet you thought I kicked the bucket. Been doing that four letter word just haven't had time to talk. The past week was spent in North West Arkansas. What a great area!!!!!!
By the way OC would love to order a T-Shirt but the bibbies would cover up the lettering

Hey mackman! Great to hear you are still out there! OC and I are both bringing our bibs to wear one evening.....I am going to wear my Goshen shirt with them! Please order if you can, as we still need a few more orders to reach our goal (which helped us keep the cost down). Oh also look for the PPST pot luck dinner thread, and if you are free Tuesday night in Goshen, we phat Phrogs are getting together for a dinner". I will be posting a list tomorrow of what/who has signed up so far!

Turbs, glad you made it home safe. Great pics, looks like all had a great time. Hope Ms. Amy enjoyed her Bday and gift.
RVC glad your mowing is done. I did mine today too, but it only takes me about 45 minutes to do my acre. Then I used the weedeater and blower to finish up before moving the Sabre and getting it set up.
I spent the rest of the day unloading everything out of the storage compartments, vacuumed the compartments out, reorganized everything and loaded her back up for the next trip.
OC, I used some warm water and about 1/4 cup Tilex and bleach on my awning. I rolled the awning up until only the white strip was showing (about 18 inches). The I sprayed the solution on the underside while crawling up and down the ladder as I moved along side the Sabre. Let it sit for about 10 minutes and then sprayed it off. Looked great. Then I rolled it up some more and cleaned the top as I rolled it up. Took some time with the moving the ladder and having to get down and push the button. But it came out great. Used a sponge with a scrub pad on one side and everything came off rather easy.
Mackman, I hear you about vacation. I just burned four days last week.
Furloughs start for me next week. So the DW and I decided to take an early vacation and see some friends in Florida. Had a great trip.
Now I can sit back until Sept and complain about losing 20% of my income. Good news is I'll have a bunch of 3 day weekends coming....

Thanks, BombDoc, I may try it. Sorry about the work situation, but it's still better than a 100% loss.

You are right. I should have started that "rent a husband" "jack of all trades" kinda business when I retired. I think I could have made a mint.

RVChick, I think a read or heard that you have the honors of being in charge of the POT LUCK. Well any way, my wife Linda and I would like to participate if that's okay. If you can tell us what you need the most of, so everyone is not bringing the same dish and let me know We would be happy to take part in the party. Everyone loves a good party with fine eats.
