We're here at our phrog pond this weekend. The water is too rough for the paddle boat today. But the waves on Lake Superior were great to sleep to crashing on the shore all night.

Have to go pick up TOWTA's car, had brake job, rotate/balance tires, radiator flush, ps high pressure line replaced and front wheel brgs replaced on her Deville. That oughta set her back about $1300-$1400, but it's cheaper than payments on a new one and the only thing we've had to have done in 6 yrs, so about $225/yr. maintenance other than oil/filter changes isn't bad.

Got by a little better, only $1078. Sure like the guys at GMAX. They do fantastic work and are honest.

Thats kind of the way we figure when deciding on big car repair bills - we have a 20001 Chrysler Town & Country van we brought new. Got about 91,000 miles on it. Filters, Oil, lubes are always done per the schedule.

Recently the check engine light came on - something in the auto transmission.

Spend a few bucks to have it properly repaired and wrote just one check instead of a check a month for a new one.

Many factors involved, but that's the way we figured was best for us in this case.
