There's only 2 types of governors in Illinois, 1 type is called "inmate #xxxxxxxx" and the other type just hasn't been caught yet.

Well, what can ya say about this crew.....
The Chick and I are sooooo glad we made this trip. We met some great folks and had enormous fun. Couple of the highlights, there seemed to be an inordinate amount of “poopin”, some rubber ducks made their presence known, lines in the gravel, a little “nose” work, an outstanding tribute to Dudley Moore, (specifically, Arthur). Some questionable “water”, rouge golf carts, a Pekinese that’s not real fond of poodles but can create its own pond/river at will (as long as there are no steps in the way).
Some questionable “hand offs” behind trailers, (which btw, were incredibly tasty).
Really long stinky slinkys.
What have I missed?

Anyway, it was great meeting everyone. Sincerely appreciate the hospitality……… 359 days!

Thanks for the sympathy, but few are the roads that have no turns in them. As for old FT Turbs, I ain't bitter and I don't hold grudges, but I always get even and IT'S MY TURN!

Everyone get home safe the next few days! Esp. OC; hope those bandages don't obstruct vision. Hopefully, for Ms. Amy's sake, Turbs can skirt the authorities!
p.s. glad you all had a great time! Hope you know I was kidding in my earlier post this week about acting perphectly proper and stuff.

We dropped the rig off at Lippert, which was only a few miles from the fairgrounds, at 7:00am, and they were done just before 4:00. They look awesome! We immediately felt one of the benefits....when we hooked up, the rig was mobile in seconds!

They are also only 200 yards from the XLR plant, and the plant manager, who was aldo tge guy who personally did all our repairs, came over to see us and made sure we were happy!

XLR ROCKS!!!!

Nose is just about healed thanks to the pretty nurse Ms. Amy. We made it to the junction of 39 & 20 where 20 crosses I80/I90 and decided it was nap time. Found a nice campground, $20/night, full hook up & a concrete slab. Owner is a farmer and he came by on his riding mower and insisted we accept a 1/2 doz ears of fresh sweet corn he had just picked. After last night's seafood boil, I really didn't want the corn, but TOWTA said we'll be having fresh sweet corn tonight, but I will eat sweet corn for supper tonight.

We had a wonderful time at the rally and met a bunch of wonderful people with the exception of one Iowegian who some way or another, that only the Man upstairs can explain, managed to latch on to a beautiful, witty young lady. Hopefully this individual will someway or another keep Ms. Amy happy.
Words can't express the fantastic attitude and work ethic of the entire service staff of Forest River. Regardless of the brand of camper, they did an excellent job. Thank you Forest River for your service and excellent service personnel.

It's been a blast (no pun intended) reading all the post from Goshen! I thank you all for the pics and the updates. I have been telling DW everyday the updates. She's even asked me " what's going on with your PHrog Phriends"? I just want to wish all of you traveling a safe trip God speed.

x10 Coot! My ribs still hurt from laughing last night! Was so amazing to put faces and personalities with names! Our PPST, and all FROGS we had met, have become a little closer and are even more like family! What a great group of people!

I'll drink to that..............for the third time tonight the chick keeps sayin, it's hard to believe all these people haven't known eachother for years! And we agree that it certainly felt like we were with people we had known a long time.

Again, thank you all for the hospitality

Yes it was great to meet so many PPST and FROGs!! We all were so excited to meet one another! I am especially impressed with all the wives, girlfriends, and husbands of us phrogs that only hear stories told by us!!! They all had a great time and were soon 'one of us!'
