That is a good size building!

Windjammer back from the dealer. Sits about 2" higher than it used to, with roughly 3" of clearance between the top of the tires and the top of the wheel housing. Seems to pull a little better, too, but that may be my imagination. At least it didn't do any damage to the tires or to the plastic liner at the top of the wheel well, as I've seen happened to others on this forum.

So we're good to go to Texas the end of this week.

Where is your Texas destination?

Have a safe trip - the 100 degree + temps are fading away so hope you can take advantage of that.

Had about the same size barn a few years ago at old house, 55x110. Covered the entire barn in metal. Yeah, it took a few days to put the roof on. I think it had a 10/12 pitch and 20' sidewalls, that ridge was like being on top of the world. I feel for ya, brutha. You lift your metal up, or are you slinging them up by hand?

Manually putting them up on scissors lift
Then raising to roof line.
Hardest part is that there 22' long and a slight breeze will get you in trouble in a hurry !
Btw it takes 50 screws per 22' panel and approximately 10 seconds a screw average. ...

Oh, I know about that little breeze action you speak of. I didn't have the luxury of a scissors lift, and had to slide them up a ladder, then have my brother pull them up onto the roof. Of course that was about 18yrs ago. Couldn't (wouldn't) do it today.

B47, we will be at Round Top for the antique festival for about a week - DW is a big collector (notice, I didn't say "buyer & seller", but she does have the buying part down pretty well), then in the Hill Country, including the Texas FROG rally at Kerrville, then to Galveston.

I'd prefer NOT to do it myself ....
Ms amy has helped some.
She ran the scissors lift up and down with 20' 2x4's for me.
She did scold me sunday for almost falling when a little wind grabbed a sheet.
I just let go and watched it slide off the roof.
Amazingly it only had a few dings in it !

Morning pond dwellers! Finally had some rain last night at The Farm! Yeah! Food plots need it. The clover was coming up, but that's about all. Rain expected thru Friday!

Had a couple close calls like that myself! If I wasn't so dang busy right now, I would come out and "help a brother out".

Home today.

Hope to get out for one more week in October before the camper gets put away for the winter. Due to a long (5 week) car trip with my sister-in-laws in the Spring to CA visiting the CA Missions, no Florida coming year.

Definitely gonna be a low count camping year in 2014.

The Devil's Slide on I-80 coming out of Salt Lake...
