We also. On our street which is about 1/2 mile long. There were twice as many parents and kids than the ones that live here.

Don't know about your part of Virginia, but Norfolk passed an ordinance prohibiting anyone older than 12 from trick-or-treating, and prohibiting all trick-or-treating after 8:00 pm.
What's next...prohibiting Santa from coming down your chimney after midnight on Christmas Eve?
Ordinance Sec. 29-4. Prohibited "trick or treat" activities.
(a) If any person over the age of twelve (12) years shall engage in the activity commonly known as "trick or treat" or any other activity of similar character or nature under any name whatsoever, he shall be guilty of a Class 4 misdemeanor. Nothing herein shall be construed as prohibiting any parent, guardian or other responsible person, having lawfully in his custody a child twelve (12) years old or younger, from accompanying such child who is playing "trick or treat" for the purpose of caring for, looking after or protecting such child.
(b) If any person shall engage in the activity commonly known as "trick or treat" or any other activity of similar character or nature under any name whatsoever after 8:00 p.m., he shall be guilty of a Class 4 misdemeanor

Wow, what a night. Strong storms ripped through our area last night. A local restaurant was damaged, with several injured, a drive thru was flattened, and trees down everywhere. Didn't think to check my own back yard this morning before I left. Guess I'll find out when wife and kids get up.

Morning phat Phrog Phamily!! Phinally a beautiful morning at The Farm. We had several days of rain, but the guys were able to get the rest of the wrap around porch posts up. We have been shopping for decking.....oh....my....word!! Composite and vinyl decking are so expensive! We have a 10ft deck front and back, and 6ft on each side.......uggghhhh......for just one board, the cost is between 15-25 bucks! Just one board.......
