Turbs - it appears the man guiding you in is doing it with hand signals - is this true and if it is,wouldn't some sort of voice communication such as handless walkie talkies be better?
Or have you guys worked together so long that you don't need to speak to each other?

25 ton?
Nice picture.
During my Years of operating Heavy Equipment I ran a Crawler Drag Line Crane with a 3 quarter Bucket. I ran it about 6 months. I did not like it because the Clutch and brakes were in the same area that the operator was in. Asbestos brake and clutch pads were used.

The white cab is where FT Turbs spends his time (sleeping), the real operator that actually works is in the cab in the back.

Hand signals are the most efficient method.
More often then not I know where to put it within a few inches as my computer tells me so.

Sad day waiting on the transport guy to pick Bertha up to take her back to Goshen. Feeling sad.

Hey OC, if you happen to see a "Melanoma Awareness" billboard in the Charlotte area, the guy who is portrayed in B&W(just under awareness) was my next door neighbor. A great guy who died much too young.
