Even old dogs learn new tricks

Having put stainless steel extensions on the exhaust last year, they had turned brown with spots all over and TOWTA suggested they be replaced. At $49+ ea, I decided to see what was available to salvage them and get TOWTA off my back. Fellow at parts store suggested 1500 & 2000 grit sand paper and Windex. Decided to try it, so bought both grits and headed out. After about 15 minutes on each extension, I was pretty pleased and more importantly, TOWTA was satisfied. WHEW!

X-2 on the steel wool... spray 'em with some WD 40, might help keep the rust away. Looks good Coot!!
