Up in Michigan ( without the rig) to celebrate the holidays with my DW's parents rain today snow on the ground looking like were going to have snow Monday through Thursday and a very very white Christmas.... Very different from what it is in Sweet home Alabama-- my son tells me it's 78° down there and the wind is picking up -- they're under a tornado watch

Has been raining here for the last 2 days. Lots of local flooding and more to come. We're high and dry and not much to worry about, but making my way to the shop could be tricky tomorrow.

It finally quit raining here. Temps for me hovered right around 33 for the duration. About 30 minutes north of me had some ice on lesser traveled roads. I think the sun is trying to come out now, but not sure we will see it today or not. Was 72 here thursday I believe. Crazy for december.

In the Toronto area today we're dealing with an ice storm. Trees and branches down all over the place with the weight of the ice. Power has been on and off all day as the hydro authority rotates power. Hydro in some areas in Toronto may be down for another 3 days.
Hopefully everyone will have power back for Christmas Day.

I measured 9" on our deck after it was all over. 2 hours to do the driveway and back sidewalk. Sure does look pretty though.

I wanted pork chops on the grill last night so I had to shovel 3 feet of snow off of my deck. But it was worth it.

Made it to Florida for 2 weeks vacation. Left Chicago in ice storm. Made it to port Richey and got set up. 80 degrees, Xmas lights, Xmas tree, tv outside for bears game and cold beverage! Not missing Chicago weather!

What a beautiful pic TTNewbees! Now that my DH just retired, I look forward to heading to Florida one winter! We got about a 1/4 inch of freezing rain yesterday!

Not much to watch in the Bears game so far if you're a Bears fan - Eagles 21- Bears 0 at middle of 2nd quarter.
Pull for Eagles next week at Cowboys

TT, I was down in Schaumburg all day today. They got about 1-1/2 today, we got 7.
