Have phun buckeye picking out a new phone!! I love when it's time to upgrade! I'd love to hear which one you settle on. Do you prefer the IOS or do you like the Androids?

Up and at em Wiscampsin! Get out there and engage that PTO!!! I have a quarter mile driveway to use the push mower around all the trees this morning, the mow around the lake and dam. It's all so pretty when said and done!
Morning Phond Dwellers, Beautiful cooooool morning on "THE RIDGE" Gonna get the mowing done today too.

Chicky, you need to get a zero turn selph propelled walk behind for all the close quarters mowing... much, much quicker and easier to use. That's what we use along our 1/2 mi. lane and the areas we can't get to with the tractor.

I agree grayfox! I keep telling my DH that! I'd love the zero turn around rider too!! I have a pusher that has the bigger back tires....supposed to be easier to push.....hellloooooo....I'm only 5'2 and weigh 105.......gimme something I can use!! I end up looking under the handle bars when pushing it!! I know right?

I don't mind the mowing, but not a fan of the string trimming. Too many trees, flower beds and such. I don't have as much to mow as you. We've got 3 1/4 acres but alot of that is wooded. I mow about an acre and some trails thru the woods. My next mower will be a ZTR. Gotta agree it does look sweet when done. Sitting on the pool deck with a cold one and admire, then get back to reality and think it's gotta be done again next week.

In our yard it would be weed circles. I also have to mow the 1.48 acres of weeds today and the 20 square feet of grass that disguises itself as a yard. At least it's mostly green.

Some people may call it what the old farmer did - we always called it Power Take Off. Whatever you call it, it is, at least when I was growing up around farm tractors, an auxiliary shaft, usually splined, that can be engaged to power farm implentiments such as mowing machines that are pulled by the tractor.

When I was growing up, there was not all the warning placards and shields on tractors there are today and more than one person was injured or killed when a part of their clothing got caught in the PTO shaft when it was turning.
