Don't make fun of my old truck, it gets the job done with no truck payments.

Just as long we don't start talking that "my Eco-boost pulls 12,000 lb and makes 24 MPG at 75MPH". That's when I get out the hip boots, no waders.

I know what you are saying OC. At your age you don't dare take on a truck payment cuz there is a pretty good chance you could take the dirt nap before you get it paid for! !!!!!!!

Nothing wrong with your truck. I just thought I could save $50,000 and use my Silverado 1500 with the Wildcat 5er.

Better go with a wet suit. Once those waders fill up you will never get them off.

Are you inferring that you burned the rubber off the rear of a F450 like a 50's teenager? Me thinks it's gettin' deep.

Ah .... no ... The Ram is stock, and mostly going to stay that way. Ya see when these trucks Work, rather than just tow the tt or. 5r occasionly, they eat the rubber, from sheer torque!! think it has something to do with the in line 6 lol
Hold on I'm a gonna git my wade 'n boots. !!

I have heard the 6.7 in the Ram has come a long way since it came out. Do you think that it will have the longevity that the old 5.9 had. The 5.9's were hard to beat.

Hay mackman
Thought I ran y'all off. !!
True that on the 5.9, my brother had a ... 02 or 3 I think. It went 320000. + with nothing worse than a lift pump to replace. It was a 6 manual, dully ,and it also ate rear tires.
At the rate I'm stack'n the miles,I can't decide if I want to gamble on that,or trade it at 65-75000 Humm... We'll see.

Our mechanic at work has a 2005 2500 with a 5.9 it has less than 50000 on the clock. I tried to get him to sell it to me before I bought this Ford. I thought I put some miles on this Ford at 22000 in a year. You don't let any grass grow under your feet do you! !!!

Who makes the open range? That would look good behind my silver and gray Ford. Sure wish the campgrounds were open up here.
