Don't let the water pump terminology throw you off. I'ts a pump in a barrel of secret recipe HOME BREWER. Story is he's going to replace the pond water with HOME BREW. Can't confirm just Yet

Turbs has some class! Had it been a blue oval, he would of had to remove the water pump and replace/rebuild everything behind it.

Too hard to maneuver the tow truck hooked to the Ford.

Ford vs Chevy

Was tied up earlier answering another ribbit from another PHrog, could not get back to anwer this particular PHrog Burp! Ford does what and Chevy does what...think you probably meant that the other way around....My poor step son has one of those off brand Fords, 350 Turbo 6.0 Deisels..been in the shop for three weeks, was in the shop last year for a month...they keep throwing wrench's at it and dumping parts into it..think they are up to around 1500 now and it still will not run....Just bought a 96' Silverado 2500HD Deisel to match our 2001 2500HD 6.0 gas...the 96' has something like 200,000 miles on the clock and runs like a top..our 6.0 gas has 157,000, never been the shop except for brakes/tires...other minor stuff like ac charging, tire rotations, and a light switch..
Not completely sold on Fords yet...they do make a darn good 150 series, just don't get hit by lighting..
ribbit, ribbit....
Pretty much any truck is a good truck when its taken care of...think my step son has not done a good job...that's about all I can say..plus the mechanics he uses aren't on the same page....he will learn one day...
kickster

I never said I was strictly aford guy I would neve own a 6.0 or 6.4 powerchoke. This is before Dodge screwed up their diesel. I was just playin with OC. But I can't say GM ever made a diesel that thrilled me.

Ya might have to experiment with the bait. The foam on top of the PHond might change some habits of the PHond Dwellers.
