B, question: Do you safety wire nuts/bolts on your camper according to AC 43.13-1B sect 7-123 & 124?

No but if the factory did sw, I would certainly have to redo some if not all of it
I always enjoyed sw and was good at it. I learned it right the first time in the active duty af.
When I was a Air Reserve Technican at Carswell AFB if your sw wasn't by the book the inspector went snip snip
We used mostly .032 SS wire, but some applications needed .064.
Saw a lot of sw while I was a FAA inspector that I didn't like, but as long as it was pulling in the right direction there wasn't much I could say.

Come on OC - it doesn't matter if its an airplane or an awning pole, just do it right.

We safety wired critical items on our race cars also and still have the mil spec 0.032 wire and 2 sets of pliers. Drain plug was one of the critical items.
