Our favorite Mexican restaurant has been waiting for her to turn 21, so that's where we will have lunch. Then she is going to meet her dad for a beer, then it's off to school. Kinda happy she can't do much actually! Works full time in a bank, and full time student at night!

BombDoc, how do you like your Tailgater antenna? We're in the process of switching from Charter Cable to one of the satellite providers - probably Dish Network - and I looked at the Tailgater to take on the RV with us. About 1/2 the cost of the Winegard Carry-out antenna. Are you happy with yours?

RVC, how was the lake? Where did you go? Some friends just sent us pictures of the Shoot-Out. They moved it this year from Captain Ron's at the 32 mile marker to Big Dick's Half-way Inn at the 45 mile mark. Didn't look like the crowds were nearly as big as in past years.

(BTW, in case anyone is wondering, Big Dick's is half-way between Bagnell Dam on the east end of the Lake of the Ozarks and Truman Dam, 90 miles up-stream on the west end of the lake. )
Capt,
I like it.....a lot. I used it this weekend for the first time. I bought the "Dish for my RV app" so that I could get an idea of where the satelittes were and somewhat know if I would have any obstructions. Seemed to work well. DW enjoyed having her morning show with her cup of coffee and the set up was very simple. I exchange a receiver in my house for the Vip211k and just take it with me when I go. This was the best option for me as I am already a Dish customer. Takes about 6-7 minutes to set up and has a very nice picture. I plan to use it mostly at tailgating events. Watch the ball game, eat, drink, my own restroom and much smaller crowds.

Morning Capt'n Mike! I don't think they moved the shoot out that far. We were staying in a lake house on mile marker 33. I think the race ended at Captain Ron's. The no wake zone was like 31 1/2 to like 36 mile marker per TV broadcasts. DH took out a wave runner before the races began, and said it was packed out there! Water patrol was everywhere, and they were very strict! He was told to slow down on the wave runner too! He did come back with a rolled up t-shirt that was tossed to him from a boat that was a sponsor! We stayed in our little cove and fished and swam off the dock! And of course watched some amazing boats motor by!

Good job Turbs !
Scissor trusses are fun ! That's a nice house. You might want to hold off on you're barn roof for a few days,or maybe do it at night.
RVC Sounds like you're DD is building quite a good foundation for herself ! Enjoy you're day tomorrow !

That's because Ms. Amy didn't want you sitting out in the hot sun and high temperature while she installed the roofing. She is just too nice to you.

After Goshen

Boy, these guys at Forest River are one hell of a bunch of great guys. When we arrived home, noticed that one of our slide outs inside trim was not right, one edge had been broken off when the sofa slide came in on one side only. Two motors on the right side were not running because of a broken wire under the stove, during which was pulled loose in repairs to the heating system. New trim piece of the way: Thanks Jeff

SYE, that reminds me of when my brother broke his leg while wake boarding, and I made him climb in my boat, because I didn't believe him. He ended up with 2 radial fractures. Heal quickly my friend!

RB Trees cut on the ground ready to split. Mowing finished around the house and old garage. Need to finish up tomorrow on our Copperhead Flats property.

Tires on on the lawn tractor full of deer poo... time to get the power washer out and a late BEER THIRSTY on The Ridge.
