So autumn is in the air again....did I mention that our rig furnace is not working....again? Looking forward to Goshen next year, so we can get this taken care of. I think it needs to be replaced....we have had it checked twice, and even the XLR guys couldn't find anything wrong with it. It worked for one day, then stopped. It never ignites. Uuuggghh.....back to space heaters and than heavens for the electric fireplace! It does a great job!

Looks way better! The front end factory sits 3" lower then the rear. $80.00 and a hours time.
Did you raise the front or lower the rear? I put longer shackles on the back of mine to lower the rear 2-1/2" to get it level.

Raised the front with new aftermarket torsion keys and shock extenders.

When you hitch up the 5er, won't the front be high?

Decided to remove the awning poles and touch up the shine. Wow, they were horrible, the discoloration in places was pretty bad. Took about an hour on the buffer to get them back to a decent condition. Does anyone know how to keep them from discoloring? I waxed them this time to see if that might help.

Haven't seen any trucks come from the factory level, they are always high in the rear.

Tried paint and it scratches, so I think clear coat would also.

Might be more expensive than you would want to spend, but perhaps having them chrome plated.

EPA has just about closed down all the plating shops around Charlotte.

I guess every 18 months, I'll just bite the bullet and re-polish. Keep TOWTA happy, happy, happy.

Anodizing would be one way to protect aluminum from corrosion and it is scratch resistant.
