Hey Chicky, have gone through the "it's too big/not big enough" stage yet? Every construction project, or house, we've done, has had it's stages from foundation (too small), framing (maybe too big), under roof (I feel closed in), wallboard (seems big again), move in --- Just Right!

Well then.....I think I am right on track with all those feelings!!

I have 4 traps and use about a 1/2-2/3 a gallon for them. I keep my system dry for the winter because the DW does not want that stuff in her water lines.
I do put about a 1/2 a cup on top of the rubber seals in the thrones.

Thanks Lynk, I leave mine dry as well. It's just easier than have her always question if I rinsed it enough when we return to service

I now Blowout the water lines and leave them dry. I only use the pink stuff in the traps
Turbo you to invest in this: Quick Turn By-Pass Kit - Camco 35983 - Winterizing - Camping World
I installed mine after W-L-A-T Brand Antifreeze messed up the Water
filter housing.
The new one is on the left

The water bypass kit is (VERY) restrictive! Your F/W suction side of the pump travels thru this, also. The Pics show Dia.of hose from tank and the hole Dia.thru the Valve, noted by drill bit reference! Now you also must realize that the On/Off internal bore is (ONLY 1/2) of the in and out Bore. If you are happy with LOW volume supply in your R/V put one of these in your Suction supply Hose! Youroo!!

Now That I do not put Antifreeze through the fresh water lines,I will probably remove the By-Pass.
I wonder if the valves could be drilled out with out messing up the valves?

By putting White Lightning in the fresh water lines I will not need to disinfect the lines in the spring with Clorox

Disinfect?, you'd be lucky to have fresh water lines period! seriously though, you'd have people lined up ,in the spring, when you open the camper up wanting to "help"

So here is how we looked yesterday
Here is today!
This is my favorite! This is looking from the east to the west, and the shape of the ceiling trusses! Should make the room look very spacious!
