Just trying to stay warm....the furnace is not working in this rig...again.....can't wait to get it to Goshen to have it replaced. Of course by then, we won't be living in it through another winter.....we better not be anyways!
The house is looking like a house more and more each day! I didn't get out yesterday to get an updated pic, but will do that today when the crew leaves.
Ha...he hasn't done Dudley in a while!

I am a Christmas Story collecting fanatic, and even keep a full size leg lamp in my front window year round. I have been wanting to get up there to Cleveland to see the house, especially this year being the 30th anniversary of the movie. I'm on a mailing list, and they sent me a list of a whole lot of things they are planning this year. They are having a charity silent auction, with the winning bidder getting to spend the night there and come down the stairs in a bunny suit.
Both my sisters went to the house last year while visiting my nephew who now works in Ohio, and just rubbed it all in my face.
It's a Christmas tradition (that my kids will attest to) that we watch that movie together once a year.
P.S. Frank: you'll shoot your eye out, kid

We have a complete Christmas movie marathon that runs throughout the house from the media server. The rule is, it must include the Christmas season during the movie. Some of my "other" favorites include "Die Hard", "Lethal Weapon", "Bad Santa", "Serendipity"(yeah I know it's a chick flick), & "The Family Stone"(this one hits close to home). And we can't forget "Rudolph" & "Santa Clause is coming to town".
