Funny you should say that. Many years ago I became possessed, er obsessed, with getting into the Guinness Beer Book of Bar Records. After many unsuccessful attempts, hospital stays, and restraining orders.......I finally made it. At 6' 1", I am the world's tallest midget.

Anyhow, other friends, similar to you.... suggested I should see a therapist to help me find answers to my posse, uh I mean obsessions. It was this same therapist who advised me to watch A Christmas Story.

Next thing I know.......I'm watching it a lot, have a leg lamp in my window, wear a pink bunny suit to Church.........and I shot my eye out.

Go figure.

No thanks, I have got thrown out of a park for using mine, though it could have been the lack of a filter after they told me to stop cause it was not allowed

They are having a charity silent auction, with the winning bidder getting to spend the night there and come down the stairs in a bunny suit.

Both my sisters went to the house last year while visiting my nephew who now works in Ohio, and just rubbed it all in my face.

It's a Christmas tradition (that my kids will attest to) that we watch that movie together once a year.

P.S. Frank: you'll shoot your eye out, kid

EDIT: Here is a copy of the email I got:

A Christmas Story House and Museum would like to invite you to bid on our charity auction! The winning bidder and 3 guests will have a VIP experience! Wake up Christmas morning in Ralphie and Randy's room, descend the stairs in your 'Pink Nightmare" bunny suit that Aunt Clara made for you, and open your gifts in the Parker living room!
The winning bidder and three (3) guests will get to spend two days reliving their favorite moments from the holiday classic, A Christmas Story, at A Christmas Story House in Cleveland, Ohio! All proceeds from the auction benefit the A Christmas Story House Neighborhood Restoration Project.

Experience includes:

[*] 2 Day, 2 Night accommodations for four (4) at A Christmas Story House
[*]1 Night accommodations at The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel[*]A Major Award[*]$200 shopping spree in A Christmas Story House Gift Shop

Please visit www.AChristmasStoryHouse.com for more details.
That is terrific!!

Hmmm Ron, I always figured you for a Poulan man.

Instead of chainsaws, I collect grills. I think I counted seven the other day. I've got them in all sizes ranging from the kind you pull behind your truck, down to the RVQ type that came with my Flagstaff.

Hello everyone, my name is Bobby and I have grilling problem.
