The one that appointed himself 2014 Goshen Rally Sheriff. The midnight GC/Coleman cooler borrower.

Now you need to cover the solstice like TOWTA does her car when she puts it in the garage.

Covers
Covering and RV is a job! When putting this thing on the Crusader, nearly fell off the top. Just folding it back up for summer storage, heck you need a quarter mile of concrete:

Hey there Essness! Sorry for the quiet spell...I have been getting access errors on my iPad for like two days! Uuuggghhhh!
Progress is doing well! We have had nearly three days of rain, so the work has been indoors. I think they are done with the green metal on the roof, but then they are doing white around the sides on the chimney! I am trying to decide now, if I want the white vinyl siding around the house as we planned, or should I now go with the metal...and have the sides done in that!....what do you think? I believe there is not a big difference in the cost....
Latest pic....

Vinyl vs metal siding has pros and cons both ways. Vinyl doesn't dent, but after aging 10-15 yrs in sun will break. Yours will not get much sun, so that might not be a problem. Metal will oxidize in about the same time as vinyl gets brittle with the sun, but again, yours is protected. Having had both, I would go with vinyl.

I am leaning towards vinyl too. Since the porch will be screened in, I think vinyl will just be a softer look on the porch....could be a girl thing!

Looking good Chicky! Have you considered going with a cement board siding? The stuff is tough, is paintable and holds paint extremely well. I put it on my house a couple years ago. Looks like cedar, but doesn't have the maintenance of cedar.

It's too heavy, will exceed the GVWR according to the weight police.

True that!
On other news, rented a seasonal site for next year. Not an ideal site, but had to take it in order to move up to a better site next year. Had been on the list for 2yrs. Will find out Monday if I can get the site beside me also, which will make things a little better.
