Good choice on the cement board. Here's an excellent product. IMHO

We (Made our Western Red Ceder siding (35 years) ago when we built the house. Looks the same today,submerged each board in (Behr CFW) some boards were (22) feet long. Have not treated siding since,the only problem is (Woodpeckers) Youroo!! I am NOT able to POST Pics.

I like it. Takes paint very well and even, and easy to install. Since I refuse to use or install vinyl, it was a logical choice.

Well, they say every dog has it's day. It was 84 in Clearwater on Friday, I flew home yesterday morning and arrived to 24 degrees. This morning it's 8 degrees

18 on The Ridge this AM. Heavy wind gusts as well. Gonna do a little trim work inside the house today and keep the wood stove fired up. DW is making some home made chile today and a fruit cake for the holidays.

17 when I took the dog out for his morning constitution. Like everybody, it was too cold to take care of business immediatly so we waited and froze. He seemed more interested in the squirrels than anything.

IMHO RVC these guys are steering you in the right direction, cement type, sideing would b the way to go.

Turbs you're pic a while ago, (I've got mine) I will have to get out all my Pasload nail guns for a photo. They would b ONE of mine !! Lol

Tim ....... Ah......we are all having too much phun with the ducks, and a duck and waterfall... Over the top lol !

We had youth hunt this wknd, here is a pic of a happy young man with his first deer !
