Morn'n Phrogs !
And happy Mother's Day to all the mama Phrogs out there !!
Y'all talking about new rigs, looked at new trucks yesterday, DD 's loaded ram is nice. Looked at 14 Laramie longhorn's in black gold, and dark green. DS wants me to stop by chebby dlr next week. he saw a black LTZ crew 14 he says I've gotta see. Strange thing is The Ram is now 11 mo old, 33000 mi. not the least problem, but if I'm burn'n through trucks like this, I might as well try them all, or rather both !

300 to go and just gave up for today. Should make it home for lunch tomorrow. Too many miles in the last 4 days for this old man. TOWTA's old junker averaging 24.7 mpg so far according to the on board calculator. Not bad for a lead sled.

2 more nights camping

We spent Mother's Day at the campground. Had site 46, right on the beach!!! It was amazing, constant breeze, no bugs and mid 80's, what a great weekend.

Finally made it home without incident. TOWTA's junker did fine except it got dirty. Will now have to give it it's first bath in 18 years and put it back to bed.

Hunting Island State Park, SC. Take a look at my albums, I have lots of pics from different sites. Plan well in advance, it is very hard to get into unless you have reservations and plan early. I had this site reserved for over 6 months.

Thanks everyone.

Sure hated the reason for going, but we do what we have to do.

essness,
Hope you didn't experience any damage with today's storms. All we had was thunder and heavy rain so far but no high winds yet. Stay safe!

X2. Nobody likes to make that kind of trip, but personally I'd kick myself for not paying my last respects to a dear friend.

Thanks for checking Wiscamp, it missed us just to the north by about 2 miles.
