Camped next to one of those last year. The slide within the slide is pretty shallow, maybe 12-18" I'm guessing. Not sure the entire set of slides came out any further than the slides on mine, but it was kinda neat. The guy said it was just the bed in the second slide.

maybe that was the only place to get a signal, tailgaters have real problems locking on......

He would have gotten better reception if it had been on a tripod, we were right across the road from him. We mounted ours on the pin box and got great reception.

Like was said on the thread...I ** want** to drive it at least one time and pull into a crowded marina, head straight for the ramp at speed and watch the horrified faces and people screaming for me to STOP...THAT would be worth the cost for a day's rental
