Bob, might want to check your math. 500 rigs equates to 1000+ people. Tuesday night there are two buses going to the RV Hall of Fame and Das Essenhaus -- about 100 people. 1000(+/-) - 100 = ....

500 rigs = 500 dishes for the potluck. Even if FT Turbs is the last in line, with his 5 gal bucket, he should still be able to fill it.

Maybe Ms. Amy can get in line ahead of him and not be embarrassed again.

At the Journey concert in Cincinnati, and just beat John Cain and his roadie in a game of cornhole. I've been the only participant to ever throw 3 ringers on him. Bring your A-game Goshen attendees! I am a reigning Goshen and Tadpole champion. Just sayin'

Awwww Tallcotton4.....we would never do that! Plus we love newbies!! Goshen is in Indiana, where the FR headquarters is located. This will be the third year they hold a rally for all owners of a Forest River camper! It is a week filled with great people, great food, and most of all....FR sends out it's techs in full swing, for the entire week, doing maintenance on your FR camper...for free! Check out the Forest River website for details on the event! There will be vendors all week as well!

Herk...Oh, no, not the Omega 13!!!

Galaxy Quest is so corny, but it is fun. Ranks right up there with Mel Brooks' SPACEBALLS.

Tallcotton, welcome!

There were some kids at Goshen last year...not a lot, but some. Some interesting things to see and do in the Goshen / Elkhart County area. Might email FROG Bob at FROG@forestriverinc.com or PM him through this forum and see if any of the tours still have openings. If not, still plenty to see and do on your own with the family.

How old are your kids? Depending on ages, they might enjoy a visit to Notre Dame, or the RV Hall of Fame.

Do you play bean bag toss a/k/a/ cornhole? AquaMan is doing a lot of bragging...some new competition might just be what he needs. (Just saying, Timmy )

My kids are High School and Jr High (9 and 8th grade). College Tour sounds awesome. Yes, we play corn hole..I can take him ;-).
I'm going to show the husband the details tonight and see if there's room for our rig. We wanted to do one more run before school starts. This might be the place!
Thanks for all the info.

Good Point FROG Bob - I am also assuming that some groups of people will have their own thing going on but even 500 or so folks is a doable potluck if we can get the grillspace and perhaps coordinate a covered seating area in case of inclement weather.

I'm the noobe to Goshen this year so I do not know the layout, but 6 Actual and I have coordinated "potlucks" for a nonprofit we belong to for up to 500 folks...a few 'mo won't matter much

Pluse we have RVC as the head honcho so how can we go wrong?
