So today, my BFF and son and daughter participated in The Wounded Warriors charity, Tough Mudders! It was a 11 mile run with several obstacles. We nailed it!

Tough Mudder is an endurance event series in which participants attempt 10–12-mile-long (16–19 km) military-style obstacle courses. Designed and created by British Special Forces to test mental as well as physical strength, obstacles often play on common human fears, such as fire, water, electricity and heights.[1] The main principle of the Tough Mudder revolves around teamwork. The Tough Mudder organization values camaraderie throughout the course, designing obstacles that encourage group participation. Participants must commit to helping others complete the course, putting teammates before themselves, and overcoming fears.[2] The events are untimed,[3] and an average 78% of entrants successfully complete the course.[4]

Our property backs up to a portion of the event. Family and friends partied along the fence line, and it was so encouraging to run by them and have everyone cheer us on!

Lol SYE! I think we actually have a few of those ducks.

Way to go on the mudder run Chicky!!! Em and I had done the Warrior Dash a few years ago. Very similar, but about half the distance and timed. A lot if fun, but tough.

I'm a big Farmall fan - either one of you have any plant photos?

Nothing left of the East Moline plant but concrete slabs.

He looks just like your other son, nice looking family. Is that your son from Arkansas?
