Was at rv show last weekend and was talking to the owners ( 2 brothers) of our rv dealer. After pizzing one of them off ( after he cut me short when telling him that they were giving me the same price as rv wholesalers+shipping on a sabre we were looking at and his brother already new the whole story) and then him apologizing after hearing the whole story.
Well anyhow he asked me if I would like to help them out on weekends or when ever I have time. He said It would be good since I have had an rv and experience, had a good knowledge of rvs (alot from here) and was good with people( I think he means I talk too much).
I told him I was interested. I asked his brother if he was serious about it today when I talked to him about the new sabre models, and he thought I would be able to help alot, with sales, pdi, and service/ parts. I said I could even bring my 5 year old daughter along to help with sales (I think my little blonde haired, blue eyed "monkey "could get a lot of walets open).
Im supper excited for the opportunity- kind of like having an alcoholic working in a liquor store, but It could help pay for our new 5er.

They carry several makes of FR. Including Puma, Sabre, Palomino, Trilogy. And some others including the high end makes like Lifestyles, and Drv Mobile Suites.

Sorry just had to share my excitement!!

Pretty cool! I did kayak guiding for a few years - it was fun to get paid to play!

Congratulations, just keep in mind that sometimes turning a enjoyable, relaxing hobby in to a job, then becomes the work you need to find another way to relax from. Hope it works out for you

Congrats, nothing like getting paid to do something you enjoy. We're on a seasonal site. After I retired 4 years ago the campground owners asked if I'd like to work for them a couple days a week. I run the office on Thursday when they take the day off and help check in campers and deliver firewood Friday's. Besides helping pay for the site I really enjoy interacting with people who like camping.
