Ya know, if this works out like nearly all the other pot luck dinners I've been too, here is what will happen:

1) Everyone knows that an army of people will be coming.
2) Everyone cooks enough to feed an army of people.
3) 95% of the food that is brought ends up as leftovers!

Yum--looking forward to days and days of delicious leftovers while on the road! (Aren't RV freezers great?!?)

Plus with the hammer loop, you can tie a larger sack on for even more, or even tie 2 sacks for even more.

The only thing I'm buying is blinders.
I will also get a general map and phone number of each guest attending pot luck as I may need to sample there dishes again the next day for quality insurance.

Bring your GPS and put every attendee in as a waypoint. Then the unit can calculate the optimum route to visit everyone.

He's blowin' smoke, he'll be asleep or passed out by 8pm.

You know Ron, since it IS called the "PPST Potluck Dinner", and you and I are the top officials of said group, I'm thinking we get to go through the line first!

Only if you are bringing dishes for consumption and not filling. Then you go to the back of the line for fill ups. Organizers are first in line and that be RVC and OC.

Old Coot- I can't seem to be able to get to RVchicks list of what is slated for the pot luck supper that you posted a few pages back. Was that supposed to be a clickable link? This is my first International Rally and it is possible that my wife and I would like to attend. Don't want to try and intrude on the groups festivities because it seems that your group has been meeting together for a while and you know each other fairly well. If you could point me to where the list is located it would be helpful.

Everyone is welcome to come and participate. Very few of us have ever met the others on the forum. The list I posted is the only one we have so far and it is not on a link. RVChick was nominated (recruited) by me to keep track of the food and she's done a great job. Turbs & I selected the night.

Bottom line, COME JOIN US and BRING YOUR FRIENDS. Just let RVC know what you're bringing. (enough for 8 or 10 people).

Thanks for the warm reception and invite to the pot luck dinner. My wife and I will be there. My wife said that she would make Fettuccini Alfredo. I will email RVC in the event she does not see this post.
Thanks again and can't wait to meet all the those who I've seen posting here.

Chicky will see it, she's pretty sharp at gleaning the dishes out of the posts. Might PM her anyway, just in case.

We are happy to have you join us friendly weirdo's.

Maybe we can make 2 separate dishes, 1-plain and 1 with shrimp (my wife hates ALL seafood)

I hope RVC sees this post because I can't email her because her mail box is full.

That makes 2 new best phriends. Add a little lobster if you can't find shrimp.
