Oh man, I am crying.
Have you seen the devastation to the schools.
Just terrible.

I hope the rescue efforts are rewarded with many saves.

x3. Supposed to have severe storms here all day today. 80% chance. It's been sunny and hot all day. Forecast is for strong storms through Thursday. Let's hope they don't amount to much.

Our prayers to those also. Tornados in this part of the country at this time of the year is the riskiest time for them to occur.

Moore, OK is just south of OKC and is next to Norman, OK on I35.

OKC is the home of the FAA Academy and I have spent much time there for training.

The academy is a large complex and the first thing all students are taught when they began each class is the location of the many underground tunnels that are under the academy buildings and where the various entrances/stairways used to get into them are located.

Tornados are taken seriously here and with good reason.

Yes, prayers to our friends north of our border. Tornado season is late this year, but unfortunely it is a strong one.

They are in our prayers, my Wife is a school teacher and I think tornados rank at the top as the biggest fear! Hope they find many survivors

Norman hasn't been mentioned on the news, just Moore and OKC. Kind of funny considering Norman is right there.

Damage

With so much damage in Moore, Norman may have only a small amount when compared..that is why I sent my friends an email to check...

I just want to cry. Its starting to rain again and its hurting efforts. This is all that's on our news and radio, just said 91 passed.
- also remember the Shawnee, OK and Carney OK areas ( both sides of us by about 10 miles) from sundays twisters.

I tried to beat it home from work yesterday, but got caught in a bunch of hail. Luckily it lifted and skipped ahead about 20 miles and dropped down about 5 miles south of the house. Dw was freakin out cause she couldn't get a hold of me cause of cell probs. Ill be honest I was pretty scared, especially with minamal visability and debri falling- couldn't tell if I was in it or not.

- just sick thinking about all the seperated kids and parents- wish Gods grace and comfort on them!

Good news, my dw just messaged and said they revised it to 24 passed, with 20 or so still missing and 101 found un rubble last night. I don't know if any of these totals are known for sure- they keep fluctuating.
-Bad though its starting to rain again with another strong thunderstorm getting close to moore again.

OMG! Oh my God, yesterday I posted about dangerous weather while camping and what to do. That was before we new about any fatalities. Today we find out about fatalities, our hearts and prayers go out to those affected. I sure hope this dangerous weather ends soon and no more casualties! Stay safe!
