While I am not a very religious person I send my thoughts and wishes for a successful recovery. I do know what you must be going through as I have exactly the same diagnosis although I'm not at your stage yet. Again wishing you the best.

cfsoistman, I haven't made your acquaintance, but we're both a Child Of The King.
Prayers UP for your healing. May His angels give you comfort and may His grace be sufficient for your full recovery.

Nice thing about sending prayers is that there is not delivery lag time. No shipping and handling charge. And faster than a Google search.
You should have received my prayer for a speedy recover and ease of pain well before I typed the first key stroke.
Recover quickly the road awaits you,

From one Charlie to another, I pray for a speedy and quick recovery for you. May you be blessed and healed. Stay positive and keep focused on getting yourself better. I'm in my seventh week since have a total left hip replacement, returning to work this Monday. Things will get better!

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling really great this morning. PT and OT has really been helping me to progress. Still can't walk but did walk while in the pool. This week I'll be back in the pool 2 or 3 times. I'm able to transfer myself to my chair and back in bed without assistance. Please keep the prayers coming. I really plan to walk from this rehab center. Thank you all and may God bless you all. Charlie

I was able to stand up on my own and stand with a walker for 6 minutes today. My left knee is giving me problems so I can't walk, but they're getting a brace for me that should resolve the problem.
