Productive evening - lemincello, lemonade, frozen juice and firestarters!

I killed it today- started with cleaning gutters with my 9 year old helping me.

She was tickled pink to be able to go out on the roof afterwards for retrieving a broom that she threw onto the roof.

And, I wish my whole roof was accessible from the truck like over our garage:

Then we started Lemincello.

Now to let it sit until Christmas.

After that, to not waste the 15 lemons, I squeezed them all. I made a quart of lemonade (Paula Deen's recipe) and froze five 4-ounce containers of lemon juice. The remainder of the lemons are being used for garbage disposal (froze 4 baggies of lemon rinds for future freshening of the disposal).

And then I prepared a set of firestarters with old wax that the wife doesn't even remembering buying many years ago.

I think I want to next time- but I want to get a cupcake pan dedicated to it. I'm too messy to mix wax and food.

The leak out wasn't too bad of a problem. I had these on double-layers of scrap paper with a cookie sheet under them. There wasn't going to be a mess I had to clean up! I think honestly, I just got the melted wax too hot.
