Question on Satellite tv at camgrounds???

I was wondering, when a campground offers Free Satellite TV on their sites, do I still need some sort of a convertor to watch TV?

I've never seen one talk about free Satellite. With Free Cable, you may or may not depending on who the provider is. Usually you don't need a box.

Free Satellite?
With so many systems out there and I'm gonna bet they are not compatible with each other I would like to know how they make it work..
Please post more when you get it worked out.

No, you don't need a converter. Basically, the park "retransmits" the channels over their internal system. All you do is plug into the normal cable input and retune your TV for "cable". They have that system at Paradise Point RV Resort. There are large dish antennae near the main facility.

OK, I get it. Just like my cable provider at home, they pull it with there satellite and distribute and sell it.
I have noticed some campgrounds adds, wondered how they did it.
