It looks like it was pretty chilly in that part of Louisiana on the day of the parade. Thanks for sharing the photos and my favorite is the travel trailer followed closely by photo #4.

Yep, plenty of "good folk" 'round here, as evidenced by the fact that wmtire lives here! He's good folks.

It's frustrating at times, being here in the home of Duck Dynasty, as wmtire and I both have to travel that road where their warehouse is located (his business is located near it, and I live near it). This is the "main drag" through our little town and now it's a "destination attraction"!

There are even crowds there on Sunday (when DD is closed), big charter travel buses, etc. and people are just taking "selfies" in front of the warehouse sign and in front of their huge camouflaged 18 wheeler truck. When they're open, good lord help us, women have to travel by there....through all that traffic... to get to WalMart! Get in the way of a woman headed for Wally World and things can go South quickly!

Oh, and yes, the DD folks are the same in real life here as they are on the show.

Good folks, indeed.

Hey wmtire, I think next year we should hook up to our TT's, decorate 'em and join in that parade. We could use those all-important-to-RVers command hooks to hang Christmas lights alllll over 'em!

Our own local Uncle Si of Duck Dynasty was the Grand Marshal this year, and Mountain Man was last year.

They shut down the main road in front of my shop for this thing, so we usually get to partake in the festivities. Here are a few pics from yesterday, that I thought others may enjoy seeing.
Neat - but the guy in the third pic of your first set sure doesn't need to be wearing shorts - sure doesn't
