RV and Auto Insurance Question

Thinking about changing Insurance to Good Sam's for TT and vehicles. Would like to find out how many pleased or displeased with them. Any problems getting claims taken care of? Very big difference for in price for same coverage. Almost $500. less per 6 months cost.
Thanks for any and all info good or bad.

Can't help you on the claim side, but don't notify your current insurance co. if you just move the RV to another company. You will lose your multi-vehicle discount, if any. And if you have other policies in force, like PLUP's, they will jack your coverage on that as well.

What I like is your current insurance co. has less overall liability exposure, when you move the RV to a separate company (rate wise at least), and they therefore "punish" you for not keeping all the vehicles under one policy.

Don't tell them anything that your not required by your state laws. I was nice and told them what they asked for and was punished for it.

I have the Good Sam insurance for my truck and BH's mini van and our fiver and it is still the best price that I can get. Sorry no help with claims because I have never had one. Good Luck

Cannot say anything about claims. I went with GS last year for my 5th wheel and vehicles as I had Allstate and they would not insure me for full-time. Good Sam/National General are very easy to work with.

Can't give any claim experience stories (thank goodness) but about six months ago when I bought our new 5w my Allstate agent had me switch to progressive for better coverage than he could provide! That's where he has his 5w coverage!
