Like a boat?

I sure hope it is not like a boat! A boat is a hole in the water you can not fill up with $$$$$$$$$$$

I'm not a drone pilot and there are some real idjits out there but it looks like you guys are aware and responsible, which is great. I'm on the giant scale gas powered fixed wing side. A lot of us were worried about the bad press multi-rotor aircraft were getting and the threat it posed to the hobby but things seemed to have settled down.

I do... I built, own and fly both of them. I don't get out as often as I'd like, but family and campering get first priority.

The open cockpit plane is a Super Stearman with a 6 foot wingspan, powered by a 20cc 2-stroke gas engine. The other is a Cessna 150 with an eight foot span, powered by a 30cc 2-stroke. They're both lots of fun to fly.

Yeah we are still figuring out our Phantom 3 Pro as well, but loving it! Weather has been crummy the past week so I have not been able to fly.

BTW Pilots, if you have not downloaded Litchi and replaced your UAV App with it, you are missing something!!
