Sorry for the loss OC. Pretty much the same thing that happened to our 10 year old toy poodle. Went a direction he had never gone before and same results. Hadn't got another dog since. Maybe one day.

You keep your chin up! The Man upstairs won't put more on your shoulders than you can carry and if you think He did, He'll help you carry it. God Bless, we'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

It was certainly not an easy one, thank goodness Mardy understood. Now, to get by seeing him when he gets home in 2 weeks. Always look forward to seeing him, just not under this circumstance.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I really appreciate them.

Sorry to be such a wimp about it.

OC:

Not a wimp. We all go through it. When we lost our Dexter at Christmas I was as bad a wimp as when we lost Dad and Mom. You never think how much these little guys get imbedded in you heart and mind. I still tear up every time I think of Dex!

Take care

Rick

OC, know that the little fellow will be waiting for you all at the Rainbow Bridge, the place where all pets that were loved wait for those who loved them.

Sorry OC. Words cannot convey what you are feeling right now. My heart goes out to you, your son and your family for the loss of your sweet grand furbaby. May Buddy rest in peace and may you find peace in your heart.
