Sad Day For Campers In East Tennessee

Yesterday we had some very strong storms with high winds of 65 to 75 mph hit the area. A friend and his wife where camping near a local lake when the wind blow over a very large tree on their tent killing both him and his wife. The had an RV but where in the tent when the storm hit. You can find the news at WJHL | Breaking news| Johnson City, TN | Kingsport, TN| Bristol, TN| Bristol, VA| Tri-Citiies Weather. John Paul was a fun person to be around and loved camping, he owned a local campground as will and spent most of his time there after retiring from office.
