Seat belts do work

And the tire blew on the truck; not the trailer...

Wow.

Could have been so much worse, this is just south of the I-15/I-86 split is it not?

Rough end to a weekend that has yet to begin. Glad nobody was seriously injured..... just a reminder to not only buckle up but check your tires and watch your speeds! Stay safe everyone.

Yes, first exit south of the I86/I15 interchange. Just down the street from me.

I thought so that is a slight down grade posted @ 65 which no one does, road curves to the left I think.

Judging from the backup looks like it was a very busy day there.

No noticeable grade, pretty straight, and most traffic drops from 80 to at least 70. Locals go to 65, ISP likes to sit in center just past pocatello creek bridge.☺

Usually problem is NB. People entering I15 from pocatello creek trying to get into left lane to exit at I86.

Might be why truck was in left lane, getting ready to exit onto I86.

Traffic is always busy there. Pocatello creek turns into Alameda, main east west road through north pocatello.
