Shooting Hobby

Hopefully this doesn't become a discussion on politics and stays on the topic of shooting sports. Four years ago after several failed surgeries I gave up skeet and trap shooting. I love to shoot and have a passion for firearms. I started shooting my old Mark ll 22/45 and had so much fun. My collection had grown and as long as I don't shoot to much it's not to hard on my neck. It's also a great way to meet other shooting enthusiast in the RV parks we are in. Last year in FL we had 5-6 guys and girls shooting 1-2 times a week. This is my modest collection. The GP100 was a gift from my wonderful wife for my birthday.

One of my most relaxing and favorite things to do is to get my old Remington single shot .22 rifle, a box of shells (most of the time .22 shorts) and sit back and "ding" my metal targets.

That old single shot gets far more use than any of the rest of my guns....

That's great. Can you find 22 shorts. I have finely found a couple of bricks of 22 lr. I love the sound when you hit a steel plate.

And these.

And my 1022 for a fun time and it's cheap.

Cool idea. I read about stringing GB on fishing line. What happens when you hit one?

It's not so bad until you get out the big ones. We did stay at a park like that in Homestead FL. I didn't sleep all night.

I find new shooters have way more fun with reactive targets than paper.
The golf balls are just one, clay pigeons are cheap as are used bowling pins for larger bores.
Eggs are another one, just use the golf tees to set them on.

For better shooters Necco Wafers.
