For around here we had a lot of snow, it has been warm and raining for a couple of days now so most of it is gone now.

Reports of lower area flooding have been reported.

I have not seen my grass since oct.2013 as of now, I heard we have a total for the year of 40 inches, and this month is always the the worst for snow and we have 2 week left. 4 hrs north in the U.P where we snowmobile their is over 60 inches on the ground and their totals so far have been in the 120 inch range

To toot my own horn, as they say - I ended up spending 5 hours outside today shoveling last night's extra. The plows re-plowed in our driveway and parking spots (which is fairly unusual here).

I wouldn't have been outside so long, but as I was getting close to wrapping up- my neighbor, a widow, and her 8 year old daughter were just getting started. I went over and helped shovel our their car and sidewalk. Then, before I finished- my other neighbors are a grandmother, daughter and granddaughter living together; I made sure to dig the road gutter out so that the melted snow would run off to the storm drain. They had a good 6" or so of standing water before I got started.

Extra sore now, but it was worth it as I spent some time talking to the widow. She's a mess, poor thing.
