Snowmageddon in the North East

Thank God the Rally in Goshen is in August........it's gonna take that long just to dig my way out of here. It just keeps on coming!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just thankfull I have a Georgetown out in the compound, or if it was any shorter I would lose sight of it. If I ever get out of here, I may have to buy some winter marker stakes like they use on the mountain roads just so I know where my rig is.

Gotta go...........time to shovel again. Wish me luck.

Best of luck. Stay safe! We're only supposed to get a few inches. So far this season we've been very fortunate, nothing too deep.

Yes ours is getting buried as we speak... Expecting 30-40" with 65+ mph winds... could be fun.

Our unit is in the open and the wind is blowing the snow away from it. It has not stopped snowing all day. They are predicting 12 to 14 inches of snow for our area. The 401 is closed because of accidents. There is a fatality near Brockville and a bus crash east of Gananaque. There are 8 ambulances at the bus accident and 2 fire departments. They are requesting additional extraction equipment. Hope there are not fatalities.

We are in Mass as well expected to get 18 to 30 inches cant wait lol.... Best thing i did was pay to store our new Roo inside a large hanger away from the expected high winds and plenty of snow. And Instead of thinking of the snow were dreaming about the 38 confirmed dates we have booked for this season in the warth of the sun and praying we dont lose power again.............

I would mail you some of the stuff but I can not get out of the driveway. There is a 3' snow drift behind the truck.

We do need the snow. The water level in all 5 great lakes is low and Lake Michigan and Huron are at the lost point since they started keeping records. If Lake Michigan get much lower the Chicago river will reverse it flow and start dumping untreated waste into the lake. The river was so low in the fall the boat company that I work for could not get the boat into the dry dock for the 5 year inspection.

This was after 2 hours of snowing...

This is Central Mass - at 8:30 we have about a foot on the group, wind is now wipping snow around and barely able to see house lights across the street.

Snow started coming down here in Southeastern Massachusetts around 3:00 P.M. and now (8:30 P.M.) there's about five inches on the ground. Meteorologists claim the worst is yet to come and I'm located in the 30+ inches area of their snowfall maps. Wind is gusting up to 50 miles per hour (says the news) and tree branches and power lines are dropping everywhere (I’m listening to the local police and fire radio). When it's all over I'll try to post the after photos but in the meantime, I’ll sit and enjoy the warm woodstove and plan for better camping days. Sorry I didn't bring out my "TURBS" SIGN, too windy and wet anyway.
