A couple my grandmother used to say....miss you Mammaw

You will go to hell for lying...same as you will for stealing

He's a liar and the truth ain't in him...
speaking of a DS who borrowed money...then she had a diabetic coma mostly recovered and he claimed he paid her.

Its bottom sides upwards

She talked in her sleep a lot... the peas needs pickin....the taters need tillin....the squash needs pickin.
She was born in '06 and died in '83 and her life when I was young was the garden at our house...any depression person is CONSTANTLY worried about food.

I have two signs hanging in my garage. The first sign says My Garage my rules. The second sign says The smartest thing I ever said was Yes Dear. Note when the wife is in the garage the first sign doesn't apply.

The site team is going to need to close this thread and do some cleanup as there are some that are not going to pass the cuss word filtering or are just inappropriate for our forums.

now we have a grammar police? ..... rockfordroo, if you're going to monitor all our misspellings and misuse of words you're going to be one busy "camper", ....

everybody knows what he meant, .... I've seen many misuse of words like: their/there ...to/too ... new/knew ... are/or ... so/sew ... ect., ...... but, I've not seen anyone take the opportunity to point out the error like this, ...... I guess that's because everybody knows what was intended and don't see the need to play "teacher" ....

but now? .... even spellcheck doesn't help when you use the wrong word, but spell it correctly, ....... oh well, heads up, the teacher has entered the building ..............

It sounds real easy if you say it really fast.

I always do what the voices in my wife's head tell me to do.

I wasn't trying to "play teacher" or be the "grammar police."

Which is exactly why I added, "if there's a joke in there, I missed it." It wasn't clear to me if he mis-spelled it or was trying to make a joke somehow.

So on second thought, I should have said "If there ISN'T a joke in there, excuse me."

I only comment when something doesn't make sense. In this case, I wasn't sure. If I wanted to be the grammar police, I'd never get off the forum (sad to say).

Sorry I riled up your feathers.

It's time we took the bull by the tail and faced the situation.

Well, do you feel lucky, punk?

You probably reach around your elbow to scratch your butt, don't you?

Any job worth doing is worth doing it right--my dad. Good words to live by.
