When I worked in upstate NY, Rochester was the Pop/Soda line. East of Rochester was soda, West was pop.

In New England, it is soda.

Born and raised in Maryland and lived in Wesminster Md for the past 31 years and now live in PA, "soda" seems to be the word just south and just north of the Mason Dixon Line.

We generally called it coke back home (central Arkansas).

OK... so we figured out that it's either soda or pop or soda pop.... but what are you washing down??? A sub, a grinder, a hero, or a hoggie????
