Sometimes you just gotta

Really wanted to get out on first trip this weekend but me and the DW have been putting off finishing up our yard. So instead of getting out for our first we planted seven trees, separated the trees from the yard with some curbing and put down 15 bags of mulch. Although we couldn't go camping I am really glad we go the yard done it looks so much better. Covered up all the dirt and the trees look great. And hey it's only the beginning of may still have many weekends left.

Haha yes I could. I can put the camper all the way in the back yard then I can look at it all night.

Ha! This one hits close to home. Super son's first birthday is June 1 and we've been crazy getting the yard ready. We cancelled our Memorial Day camping plans.

Last weekend, we removed 40-50 bags of leaves and yard waste. I even took a load of the heavier ones to the dump totally about 1,500 pounds.

Starting Thursday after work, we spread (and ran out before we were done) 15 yards of mulch. Then we went and spread 9 yards of topsoil over the whole backyard in prep for sod next weekend.

I'm so sore I can barely move!
