The America the Beautiful pass is actually a series of passes. The disabilities pass, called the Access Pass, is available to those with permanent disabilities. The pass will get you 50% off the camping fee at the majority of Federal campgrounds. There are a few exceptions but those are usually campgrounds operated by an outside concessionaire. The only campgrounds I can think of off hand that don't honor the pass are Fishing Bridge in Yellowstone NP and Colter Bay (the full hookup park) in the Tetons.

Thanks Oakman. I will check into that. I had my right mid foot totally fused and then had my ankle completely fused. Had 23 surgeries and long recovery. I am considered permanently disabled. I have to walk in a boot until my next surgery. They have to brake ankle fusion area and then refuse it.

Fun fun fun.
