I thought they were going to lift that embargo, and we would be able to buy Cubans here, I guess not, which is to bad, enjoy your cigar.

Watch out! You're presumably getting into politics here (embargo - government). I know.

A calm night - a dog and a cigar. You're starting to give Twohand a run for the best stoogie pictures.

Your probably right, didn't think of that, even through we are talking tobbaco seed, someone with a narrow sight might think that, surely didn't mean to talk politics, just good cigars. I'll have to have B&B send me some from CANADA.

Yeah - I posted awhile ago that Obama lifted some embargo items, including cigars, and it was shut down. Presumably because an embargo involves government action and government action involves politics and so on. I still haven't figured that one out,but so be it.

P.S. I won't comment on your "someone with a narrow sight might think that," statement, but enough said.

Did not mean you at all b47, don't be offended, it was a general statement, that you were right it could be considered political, but we are still talking about the best cigars made, seeds grown in Cuban soil. Not Cuban seed grown in Dominica

Not offended at all. I'm not the one who branded it as political. Cuban cigars were all I mentioned in my post to the cigar smokers here as just a FYI. I did have to mention that the embargo on them was lifted as my source- never thought it would be branded as political.

Just something about true Cuban cigars that sets them apart and the standards high.

@B and B... By the way... I was just being a smarmy weevil here. No offense meant or intended. I do apologize if I crossed the line.
