Never have been a smoker, but if I decided to now begin smoking,a good fat cigar would be my choice of poison. Probably doesn't matter to most smokers, but cigars are claimed to be as harmful as cigarettes to both the smokers health and people around him/her.

So while I probably won't die of lung or throat cancer,we all have to go sometime.

Enjoy your cigar.

I finally broke my DH of the cigarette habit a few years ago but he still has the occasional cigar. I can't stand the smell and as a nurse, I spend every day talking to patients about quitting. It doesn't just increase your chance of lung, throat, mouth and lip cancer but also colon cancer. It also aggravates reflux symptoms which can lead to Barrett esophagus but so can coffee. So if you smoke be sure to get regular screenings. As far as smoking at the campground, as far as you are respectful with it, enjoy it while you relax.

Love them, but the wife does not. Sneak them here and there, but she has the nose of a bloodhound. It also doesn't help that she does genetic cancer research for a living. I am basically screwed. But thanks for the pic and reminder.

Davidoff #2

Not too often, they're more expensive than drugs.

I enjoy them while camping. I built my own humidor and take them with my all the time. Really enjoy the Drew Estate's Kuba Kuba.

I will be trying one of those this weekend. While camping 2 weekends ago in Virginia, a Drew Estate rep was at a local shop and lots of good deals on their cigars.

I love a good cigar camping. I even have my camping humidor. Aluminum, durable, and holds 16 cigars. Enough for a week of camping and some to share.

I want to camp next to Dutch with his Davidoffs and moosehead with the Opus X. Two cigars on my cigar bucket list.

👍

Mostly have a Templeton Rye with my cigar, but it depends on which cigar I smoke.

Talking

I didn't know that it was possible to camp without cigars.... sounds barbaric.

Moosehead--nice selection! I mail order my cigars and do a lot of 5-pack samplers. Let's me cover a lot of ground and try different things. The Romeo and Julieta Cedro #2 is a favorite as well.

The only 2 places I smoke cigars are the campground and casino.

I given smoking (kind of), but still maintain my humidor. I have many, but some that I always keep on hand are Fuente Hemingway (short story) and CAO Cameroon (belicoso).

Thompson''s 5 Pack fever is a great buy. Buy some cigars at th B&M, but mostly online.
