Hi again to everyone. I'm just wondering how many members here live in or around Lubbock Texas? My wife and family just purchased a home and land just north of Lubbock in new deal. I was just wondering how many people go camping around the area and if we could be lucky enough to meet some of you great people in the campgrounds!

I'm originally for that part of the state but I now live in Katy (Houston). One of my favorite places to camp is Palo Duro Canyon State park

and last year I "discovered" Caprock Canyons State park.

I live in lubbock. ..well county, as im in way south lubbock. Anyway, not much for camping per se other than buffalo lake. Luckily caprock, palo duro, and even copper breaks are just an hour or so away. ..and new deal is already on the way there...just a quick trip down I-27!

Welcome. I have some friends in Abernathy. That shouldn't be far from you. But, they don't RV. Try a few local cgs around your area. You'll meet some nice folks.
